The route
Take the GT Road or the M-1 towards Taxila. The sites are spread over a few kilometres, so a car with a driver is far easier than public transport.

- Sirkap, the ancient city site, and Mohra Moradu.

Where to stay
Most visitors do Taxila as a day trip from Islamabad or Rawalpindi, so hotels are not usually needed. We are an independent car with driver service, not a hotel agent.
Best time to go
October to March is the most comfortable for walking the ruins. Summers are hot, so go early in the morning.
