The route
There are two main ways: through Murree and Bhurban along the Galiyat road, or via Abbottabad and up to Nathia Gali. The Galiyat road is narrow with sharp bends, and fog is common in summer afternoons.

Best time to go
April to October is green. In winter, the hills see snow and the narrow roads can be icy, so check conditions and choose a 4x4.
